IT TEAMS CONDUCT RAID AT ETHANOL PLANT IN ZIRA

The teams from Income Tax Department today conducted raid at the ethanol plant of Malbros International Pvt. Limited at Village Mansurwala in Zira.

As per information available, the IT Department team reached at the plant early morning. The team reportedly took the entire record belonging to the plant in their custody and started investigation; however the IT department team refused to reveal any details.

In Ferozepur, the team conducted raid at the residence of Pawan Bansal, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the plant in the morning. Though, the house was locked however the IT department team broke the gate lock and entered inside the house.(SUBHEAD)

The investigation of both teams was on in Zira and Ferozepur till the filing of this report.

The IT teams have reportedly raided at the residence and offices of former SAD MLA Deep Malhotra’s in Faridkot. Notably, In February, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Malhotra’s son Gautam in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
