Alert Border Security Force (troops) on Sunday evening shot down one another Pakistani drone carrying narcotics on Indo Pak Border in Amritsar Sector.
BSF spokesman in Jalandhar Punjab Frontier Headquarter said on Monday that on 28th May 2023, at about 0850 PM, alert Border Security Force troops deployed in depth area, heard buzzing sound of a suspected Pak drone, in the area near Village – Dhanoi Khurd, Distt – Amritsar.
As per the laid down drill, BSF troops immediately reacted to intercept the drone and successfully downed the Pak drone with Contraband.
(MOREPIC1)(SUBHEAD) During subsequent search of the area, BSF troops recovered a black coloured Drone (Quadcopter, DJI Matrice, 300 RTK) alongwith a consignment containing 01 bag of suspected Narcotics, attached with the Drone by the means of iron ring, from the farming fields of Village – Dhanoi Khurd Distt – Amritsar.
The gross Weight of the recovered consignment of suspected narcotics is appx – 2.700 Kgs., which valued worth Rs. 14 crores in international market.
BSF spokesman claimed that another nefarious attempt of Pakistan foiled by vigilant BSF troops.
