On the birth anniversary of the founder of Arora community, Arutji Maharaj, MLA Sandeep Jakhar and Mayor Vimal Thatai led the people in garlanding the statue near Abha Square.

Jakhar said that the message of Arut ji, the great founder of the Arora community, was that every civilized citizen has a moral responsibility to strive for the progress of the society. May 30 is a day full of enthusiasm for the fearless community, when we bow head to Shri Arut ji Maharaj. We must follow his teachings on simple living and high thinking besides fairness in the respective fields.
Mayor Vimal Thatai said that the Arora/Khatri community has a rich heritage and have played an important role in society with their ability. Our history is glorious and the new generation should be aware of the same. He also appreciated the contribution made by the community in the form of tax to the government exchequer.
