Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghpal Minister of State Law and Justice today visited the national martyrs memorial and other historical places and chalked out the plan for the development of these places.

The union minister was accompanied by senior BJP leader Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi and others.

After paying the floral tributes to the martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, the Union Minister said that the central government would soon construct a museum at the memorial so that the visitors, who come here from all across the world, could know more about those martyrs who made prime sacrifices for their mother nation.

He said that the memorial will constructed with the cost of Rs. 5 crore. “Out of this, eighty percent amount will be provided by the union government while twenty percent will be borne by state government. If the state government fails to provide its twenty percent share, then it will be provided under CSR funds”, said Meghpal.(SUBHEAD)
