TWO SENSATIONAL EXTORTION CASES OF PS PALAM VILLAGE AND PS SULTANPURI WORKED OUT, 06 PISTOLS ALONG WITH 14 LIVE CARTIRDGES WERE RECOVERED, ONE STOLEN MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED

A team of AGS/Crime Branch apprehended two sharp shooters of Sandeep Kala @ Kala Jathedi –Naresh Sethi- Anil Chippi gang named Ashudeep @ Ashu, 28 years, R/o Village Karor, PS Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana and Anshuman Singh, 27 years, R/o Chhoti Bazar, Rai Bareilly, UP. 06 pistols along with 14 live cartridges and one stolen motorcycle were recovered from their possession.
AGS/Crime Branch has been working on the interstate criminal gangs involved in extortion, murder and robberies etc. Information was received by SI Sachin that active shooters of Kala Jathedi gang involved in extortion case of PS Palam village would come to the area of Nirmal Dham and Rohini, Delhi to deliver the consignment of arms and ammunitions to their associates.
Accordingly, a team led by Insp Krishan Kumar and Insp Gulshan, comprising of SI Sachin, ASI Surender, ASI Mukesh, HC Narender, HC Deepak, HC Shyam Sunder, HC Pappu, HC Dharamraj, & Ct. Dheeraj under the close supervision of ACP Naresh Kumar was constituted by DCP Amit Goel and Joint CP S.D. Mishra to nab the gangsters.
On the basis of the specific information, two sharp shooters of Sandeep Kala @ Kala Jathedi & Anil Chippi gang were apprehended in two different operations:
OPERATION-1 : On the basis of secret information, a trap was laid near X-ing Chawla Drain, near Nirmal Dham, Delhi and accused Ashudeep @ Ashu, 28 years, R/o Village Karor, PS Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana, was apprehended on a stolen motorcycle and 05 pistols & 10 live cartridges were recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 135/2023, U/s 25 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch was registered.
Accused Ashudeep @ Ashu procured consignment of arms and ammunition at the behest of Anil Rohilla @ Chippi for supplying the same to his gang members for extortion and related criminal activities.
OPERATION-2: On the basis of secret information, a trap was laid at Vikas Marg, Sector-24, Rohini, Delhi and accused Anshuman Singh, 27 years, R/o Chhoti Bazar, Rai Bareilly, UP was apprehended. One sophisticated automatic pistol along with 04 live rounds was recovered from his possession.
Accused Anshuman is involved in an extortion case of PS Sultanpuri and he alongwith accused Ashudeep @ Ashu is also involved in an extortion case of Police Station Palam Village.
INTERROGATION: Accused Ashudeep @ Ashu disclosed that on the directions of Sandeep Kala @ Kala Jathedi and Anil Rohilla @ Chippi, he alongwith his associate Anshuman visited Ramphal Chowk, Dwarka on 31.01.2023 and threatened a real estate dealer on gun point to pay extortion money of Rs. 02 crore. They also made communication with the complainant to Sandeep @ Kala Jathedi over their mobile phones. In this regard, a case FIR No. 102/23, U/s 387 IPC, PS Palam Village, New Delhi was registered.(SUBHEAD)
On 03.02.2023, accused Anshuman Singh along with his associate also visited in Pooth Kalan, Delhi to eliminate a businessman who was not ready to pay the extortion money. When they reached the house, they found the main gate locked, as such they fired 7/8 rounds on the main gate of the complainant. On inspection, seven empty cartridges were found at the place of incident.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 137/23, U/s 387/506/507/34 IPC & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act, PS Sultanpuri, Delhi was registered.
Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime,during interrogation it was revealed that Kala Jathedi made the extortion plan. Anil Chippi provided the arms and ammunitions through one of his associate and Naresh Sethi through one Akshay executed the extortion calls. The trio’s crime syndicate, operates from the jail and recruits new members for their gang through social media to execute murders, extortion, land grabbing, robberies and also collect protection money from satta operators etc.

CASES WORKOUT: Case FIR No. 102/2023, U/s 387 IPC & 27 Arms Act, PS Palam Village, Delhi., Case FIR No.137/23, U/s 387/506/507/34 IPC & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act, PS Sultanpuri, Delhi., E-FIR No. 023281/21, U/s 379 IPC, PS Aman Vihar, Delhi.
RECOVERY: One stolen motorcycle., 06 pistols along with 14 live cartridges
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Accused Ashudeep @ Ashu belongs to a medium class family and is a resident of Karor, Rohtak, Haryana. He studied upto 11th standard from a Govt. School in Village Karor. During his schooling, he came in contact of one Anil Rohilla @ Chippi, a close associate of Kala Jathedi Gang. In February 2020, he along with his associates Naresh Sethi, Kapil Dawala, Kaju Hodel, Ravi Bhola, Sachin Bhanja, Anshu Bawana, Arun Dhillu Bajhgera, Joginder Jogi Dhanod, Manjeet and Vikash Sonipat fired upon Haryana Police and got released Sandeep Kala @ Kala Jathedi from lawful custody of Haryana Police while they were going to produce the accused in the court.
A case FIR No 68/2020, U/s 148/149/224/225/186/307/333/353 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act, PS Dabua, Faridabad Haryana was registered. Accused Ashudeep @ Ashu was arrested by the Haryana police while the gang leader Sandeep Kala @ Kala Jathedi was absconding and later on, Sandeep Kala @ Kala Jathedi was arrested by Special Cell, Delhi Police.
Accused Anshuman Singh, 27 years, belongs to a medium class family residing in Rai Bareilly and is a graduate (Bachelor of Arts) from Firoz Gandhi College, Rai Bareli. He was influenced by the gangsters. He likes to watch videos uploaded by gangsters on Instagram. Once he liked the video of the gang on Instagram, then they contacted him and asked him to join their Gang. He joined the gang as a sharp shooter. On each and every assignment of threatening & extortion he got handsome amount from the gang leaders.
