Following flash floods and heavy rainfull the school holidays have been extended till July 16.
Now all government-private schools in Punjab will remain closed till July 16. Earlier, the Bhagwant Mann government had closed all schools till July 13. At present, the government has decided to extend the holidays in schools in view of security.
Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has given the information about the increase of holidays in schools by tweeting. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains tweeted – As per the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Maan, holidays in all government/aided/recognised and private schools of the state have been extended till 16th July 2023 due to rains. .
Schools will open as usual from 17th July (Monday).
