The re-construction work of the old bus stand which was in limbo for a long time has resumed. The work that has been going at a slow pace has picked up after shifting off the bus stand sometime back to Kinnow Market near the new Anaj Mandi area.

MLA Sandeep Jakhar, Municipal Corporation Mayor Vimal Thatai along with other activists visited the old bus stand today to inspect the development works. Jakhar said that keeping in view the convenience of the passengers, the bus stand has been temporarily shifted to the new Anaj Mandi so that the work can be done faster here.

He said that due to the neglect of the government, the development work has been started very late, but it is hoped that the same will be completed soon. He appealed to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to ensure sufficient funds for the structure to be raised in the extended area of the stadium.
