CHHATTISGARH PILED UP 254 AGAINST GOA J&K INCHING FOR A MASSIVE WIN AGAINST MANIPUR

Goa is trailing by 193 runs against Chhattisgarh on the first day of a league match of the ongoing Balramji Das Tandon Under-16 Boys Multi-Day Cricket Tournament being played at the Cricket Institute of Chandigarh (CIC), Kaimbala on Sunday. Goa won the toss and invited Chhattisgarh to bat first. The team declared its innings at 254 runs at the loss of eight wickets wherein Dhananjay Nayak scored the highest score of 57 runs. In reply, by the end of the day's play, Goa had scored 61 runs at the loss of two wickets.

Jammu & Kashmir is heading for a big win against Mizoram in another match played at Baba Balak Nath Cricket Academy. Mizoram won the toss and batted first and were bundled out for mere 33 runs in their first innings. Arun Kumar took a maximum of seven wickets. In reply, J&K scored 249/4 (declared) in the innings with the help of half-centurions – Rahil (92) and Shiva (51). At the end of the day's play, Manipur scored 35/5. Jeevesh Gupta took four wickets for J&K. Manipur is still trailing by 181 runs.
