Hundreds of people participated in Shri Ram Naam Satsang on the arrival of Shri Ram Sharnam Ashram Gohana chief Shri Krishan Ji Maharaj and Rekha Maa Ji Maharaj here in the local Ashram complex Saturday evening.
Among those present was Fazilka Deputy Commissioner Dr Senu Duggal. She was welcomed by the chief Sewak Madan Lal Bhalotia, Gaushala president Faquir Chand Goyal, Naresh Phutela, Bhanwar Lal Khatri and other eminent citizens.
The complex was surcharged with spiritual warmth and of devotion as Rekha Maa presented bhajans. Dr Duggal also joined in the satsang and sought blessings for the welfare of the area. About 200 devotees were given Diksha by Shri Krishan Ji Maharaj. A full size portrait of Bhagat Ji Maharaj stood tall on the dais.
The satsang function remained simple and disciplined, the Sangat of the area was dyed in the color of God in devotion to the name of Shri Ram. The DC also praised God and encouraged the people of the area to become true devotees of God.
