On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purab, the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, which reverberates with spiritual significance, the Governor of Punjab, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, paid obeisance at the Gurudwara situated in Sector 8C, Chandigarh.
In a gesture of profound respect and solidarity with the people of the State and UT Chandigarh , Sh. Purohit offered prayers for the ‘Chardikala’ of the people of Punjab and Chandigarh .The Governor not only extended his reverence but also partook in the sacred 'langar', sharing a meal with the devout 'sangat' (congregation) present at the Gurudwara.
