BOTH OF THE CRIMINALS WERE GIVEN TASK BY ARSHDEEP @ DALLA TO ASSASSINATE SINGER NAMELY ELLY MANGAT FOR WHICH THEY ATTEMPTED IN OCTOBER 2023 AT BATHINDA BUT FAILED AS THE TARGET WAS NOT FOUND AT HOME.

Acting on a secret information regarding two sharpshooters of international terrorist/Gangster Arshdeep Singh alias Dalla namely Rajpreet singh @ Raja @ Bamb and Virender singh @ Vimmy have been arrested on the main road towards Akshardham Mandir opposite Samachar Apartment, Mayur Vihar, ND after a brief exchange of fire.'
During encounter Five rounds were fired by the accused persons of which two rounds hit the bullet proof jacket of police. On retaliation the police team fired six rounds upon the accused persons. During this exchange of fire one of the accused Virender Singh @ Vimmi sustained gunshot on his right leg. After the incident both the accused persons were sent to LBS hospital for treatment and later on arrested in the case.
(MOREPIC2) (SUBHEAD)One revolver .45 mm with 06 live cartridges and another .30 mm pistol with 07 live cartridges along with a hand grenade and a stolen bike has been recovered from the possession of the accused persons.
Accordingly a case vide FIR No 284/23 U/s 186/353/307/34 IPC, 4/5 Explosive Substances Act and 25/27 Arms Act was registered at PS Special Cell NDR.
Further on the basis of disclosure of both the accused persons a raid was conducted at Dairy Skaner, Gautam budh Nagar, UP and another associate viz. Sachin Bhati, suspecting to be having a huge catche of arms was apprehended.
Both of the criminals were given task by Arshdeep @ Dalla to assassinate singer namely Elly Mangat for which they attempted in October 2023 at Bathinda but failed as the target was not found at home.
KNOW THE ACCUSED:
Rajpreet singh @ Raja @ Bomb S/o Lt. Gurucharan singh R/o Village- Gill, Distt- Firozpur, PS Ghalkgurd, Punjab. Age 25 yrs is one of the shooter/operative of Arshdeep @ Dala in Punjab who is currently wanted in a murder case of Paramjeet singh resident of Vill Jagroan Punjab which was committed in Jan 2023. Paramjit singh was murdered by the accused and his associates on behest of Arshdeep @ Dala.
He is previously involved in a 2017 case of an attempt to murder case of PS GuruHarsahay Distt Firozpur in which he has jumped the parole. The attemept was made on vinay bajaj on behest of his friend Popal and went to jail for 3 years.
Virender singh @ Vimmy S/o Jarnail Singh R/o village- Mod Kalan, PS Mod Mandi, Distt- Bathinda, Punjab. Age 22 yrs is a shooter of Arshdeep @ Dala who is currently wanted in criminal case of firing in front of Prem jewellery of MAUR MANDI punjab. Firing was carried out on behest of Arshdeep @ Dala as he demanded extortion from owner of prem jewellers.
