DESERT HAWKS ORGANISE A THRILLING CAMEL SAFARI

The Desert Hawks organised a thrilling Camel Safari as part of the ongoing Konark Multi Modal Expedition from Myajlar to Munabao in order to celebrate 52 Years of 1971 Operations Victory. 

The flag off event took place at the Government School in Myajlar. The momentous event saw a large gathering of Ex-Service men along with enthusiastic school children who also joined in the celebration. Colonel Manvendra, CO 24 GUARDS, honoured the Ex-Service men, followed by a group photograph capturing the spirit of camaraderie and resilience. An informal interaction with the Ex-Service men and locals of Myajlar Village further fostered a sense of community and shared purpose.

(SUBHEAD)The ceremony was graced by the presence of Nk Swaroop Singh (Retd) of 24 Mech (20 Rajput) and Nk Bhawani Singh (Retd) of 10 Para SF, both distinguished 1971 war veterans. Their participation added a poignant touch to the event, highlighting the valour and dedication of our armed forces. Refreshments were distributed to children to add to joy & festivity of the occasion.

The Camel Safari stands as a testament to the spirit of adventure, camaraderie, and the enduring legacy of our Armed Forces. As the safari commenced, the villagers of Myajlar extended a warm welcome, showering the participants with flowers, creating an atmosphere of festivity and goodwill. Furthermore, a motivational lecture was organized for the students of the Government School in Myajlar, inspiring and encouraging the young minds to strive for excellence. Refreshments were distributed to the children fostering a sense of joy and celebration.
