BAG CONTAINING PRESTIGIOUS MEDALS OF NATIONAL PARA- BADMINTON PLAYER SAFELY RECOVERED

BAG  HANDED OVER BY THE TEAM OF PP RED-FORT

A team of five members of National Para-Badminton players of various states of India arrived Delhi to join a tournament at Indira Gandhi Indoor stadium, Delhi.

On Monday, all five team members came to see the historical monument i.e. Red-Fort. One of the Para-Badminton Players namely Shri Jagdish H.C. S/o Late Sh. Chinappa, R/o J.C. Nagar, Bangaluru, Karnataka, age 35 years lost his bag in an unknown TSR. His bag was having his hard earned medals, certificates and other important documents.

Mr. Manoj Kumar Meena, IPS, DCP, North Distt., said, the whole team of Para-Badminton players arrived at Police Post Red-Fort for immediate help, since the medals are priceless to the players who earn them hardly. The matter was brought into knowledge of senior officers.

(SUBHEAD)Shri Vijay Singh, ACP/Sub-Division, Kotwali and Inspr. Jatan Singh, SHO/PS Kotwali, took the matter seriously and they immediately constituted a dedicated police team, comprising SI Satender Singh, (In-charge PP Red-Fort and HC Than Singh for taking necessary action into the matter and they directed the team to make their sincere efforts in search of the missing bag of Para-Badminton Player.

Consequently, the team closely watched hundreds of CCTV cameras installed on the route of TSR and also obtained the registration number of TSR in which the bag was mistakenly forgotten. The ownership of said TSR was obtained and the missing bag was brought from Loni Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

All the Medals and documents have been safely recovered and handed over the complainant, which led to the happiness in the eyes of the whole Para-Badminton Team.
