NGO TAMMANA ORGANIZED A DELIGHTFUL LOHRI CELEBRATION AT SAMARTH JIYO HOME

NGO Tammana, a dedicated non-profit organization, organized a delightful Lohri celebration at Samarth Jiyo Home in Sector 15 on Sunday. The event embraced the spirit of inclusivity by hosting 80 differently abled , including residents from Ashray Home, Sector 47, Chandigarh.

Isha Kakaria, the Founder President, expressed the profound purpose behind the event. “Our primary objective is to raise awareness about disability inclusivity, fostering increased participation in socially expected life roles and activities.”

The event commenced following a warm meet and greet, whereby attendees gathered and danced around a vibrantly decorated bonfire, shared the event SPOC and Office Coordinator, Meenakshi Mahajan.(SUBHEAD)

The venue resonated with the beats of a lively Dhol, setting the platform for everyone to revel in the joyous occasion.

The festivities continued with traditional folk songs sung by all, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration.  All were treated to tea and refreshments.

Jaskaran Singh, General Secretary and longstanding member, highlighted Tammana's 15 years of dedicated service to society. “Tammana welcomes all without a fee, and those passionate about our cause can easily join by registering at www.tammana.org.in.”
