SPEAKER SANDHWAN CONGRATULATES STUDENT MANDEEP KAUR FOR WINNING GOLD MEDAL IN GATKA COMPETITION

The Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker, S. Kultar Singh Sandhawan, has extended his congratulations to student Mandeep Kaur for winning the gold medal in the Gatka competition held in Chhattisgarh.

S. Sandhwan, while congratulating, said that Mandeep Kaur, an 11th-grade student at Dr. Chanda Singh Marwah Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Kotakpura, clinched the gold medal in the Gatka competition in Chhattisgarh, bringing pride to the Kotakpura area and the state.

The Speaker expressed his congratulations to the parents, teachers, and coaches for the remarkable achievement of the talented girl and expressed hope for her future success. He mentioned that various sports achievers from Faridkot district were honored with cash prizes, a tradition that will continue in the future.

Furthermore, S. Sandhwan said that the Punjab government is dedicatedly working to foster a sports culture in the state, exemplified by initiatives like 'Khedan Vattan Punjab Diyan'. He stressed the government's ongoing efforts to nurture talented athletes and provide them with job opportunities through established policies.
