RINKU KALIA WINS HEARTS AT LIVE CONCERT

Rinku Kalia, eminent singer and winner of Zee TV's musical show “Sa Re Ga Ma”, today delighted audience by her impressive performance at the Tagore Theatre here.

(MOREPIC1)    Organised by the Joshi Foundation in collaboration with the Art and Cultural Affairs Department, Haryana Government, and Prime Land Promoter and Builders(PLPB), the show kicked off with all- time favorite Mirza Ghalib composition “hazaron khwahhishen aisi”.It was followed by “aaj jaane ki zid”, ” kal chaudhivin ki” and “yuan na reh reh ke”.

Shiv Balalvi's poetic gems “mainu tera sabab”, “eh mera geet” and “mainu heere heere”, which flowed through here soulful voice, were much appreciated by the audience.

In the last segment, foot- tapping sufi snd folk numbers such as “charke di kook”, “veh mahiya tere vekhen nu” and “dama dam mast kalandar” provided grand finale to the concert.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Gian Chand Gupta was Chief guest while senior IPS officer RC Mishra was guest of honour.

“The concert was organused to provide quality music to Chandigarh audience and raise funds for charitable projects,” Vineet Joshi, Chairman, Joshi Foundation, said.
