UNIFIED BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT ORGANISED BY SPECIAL OLYMPICS BHARAT & VIVEK HIGH SCHOOL

Special Olympics Bharat, Chandigarh in association with Vivek High school organised a Unified Basketball tournament in which Special children along with normal children participated at Vivek High School. The event was presided over by Mrs Dilpreet Kaur Sekhon, President Special Olympics Bharat Chandigarh and Mrs Harbina Randhawa Principal Vivek High School.

The event was planned and executed by Ms Sheetal Negi Area Director Special Olympics Bharat Chandigarh. 40 children with and without intellectual disability participated in the event and they were enthusiastically cheered by spectators.

Mrs Dilpreet Kaur Sekhon,President Special Olympics Chandigarh thanked the Principal Mrs Harbina Randhawa and administration of Vivek High school for agreeing to host the event and hoped that there would be more such events planned in the future. The event concluded with distribution of medals and certificates to the winners and participants.
