The Punjabi Cultural Council and the World Gatka Federation has jointly called upon the British voters, especially Punjabi Diaspora, to rally behind the Sikh parliamentarian, Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, wholeheartedly as he seeks re-election from the Slough constituency in the United Kingdom. They emphasized that during the last term, Dhesi has charted history as a learned and effective speaker in the British Parliament and effectively raised important issues for all sections of the society.

In addition to this Dhesi's strong constructive debating abilities have made him seen as a formidable advocate in the House of Commons, particularly for the interests of diaspora, he added.

(SUBHEAD)In an impassioned appeal to voters and supporters across Britain and Slough, Harjeet Singh Grewal, Chairman of the Punjabi Cultural Council (PCC), underscored that this election presents a pivotal opportunity for the voters in the UK to reaffirm their trust in Dhesi's exemplary leadership. During his previous term, Tan Dhesi has tirelessly served the people of Slough, fervently championing their concerns and strongly advocating for the community both in the UK and India.

Grewal further highlighted Dhesi's unwavering commitment to preserving the spirit of Punjabi culture and Punjabiat among the diaspora. He urged both Britons and Indians to wholeheartedly support this dynamic leader and other Punjabi labour leaders by encouraging their relatives in Slough to cast their votes for Dhesi for his victory.

Harjeet Grewal, who is also a Gatka promoter and President of the World Gatka Federation, added that notably, Dhesi's contributions extend beyond politics. He has been leading the UK Gatka Federation for nearly a decade, successfully organizing national-level Gatka championships across various British towns while also promoting other sports.
