A magnificent century from Arjun Azad and a four wickets haul by Raj Angad Bawa helped Sukhna Zone to beat Rose Zone by four wickets in the Men's Seniors category of the UTCA Domestic Tournament played at Launching Pad Academy on Monday.

(MOREPIC1)  Sukhna Zone won the toss and decided to field first. Bawa (4/35) demolished the top and middle order to restrict Rose Zone to 249/9 in the stipulated fifty overs. Tushar Joshi (81) was the top scorer while skipper Karan Kaila (50) also scored a half-century. Amit Lubana contributed 48 runs. In reply, opener Arjun Azad gave the team a solid start by scoring 103 runs in 61 balls. His partner Sanchit Sahu (51) aptly supported him to achieve the target in the 46th over with the loss of six wickets. Deepin Dahiya (3/27) took three wickets.

In the second match of the day played at Baba Balak Nath Cricket Academy, Kaimbala, Terrace Zone defeated Rock Zone by one wicket. Rock Zone decided to bat first and scored 280 (all out) runs with the help of Gaurav Puri (110).

Nipun Sharda (70) . Prince Sagu (4/44) claimed four wickets while Hardik Chaudhary (3/45) took three wickets. In reply, the team achieved the target in the 47th over with the loss of nine wickets with the strength of Kunal Mahajan (113) and unbeaten Gurinder Singh (88). Nishank Birla (3/55) took three wickets.
