ACCUSED MOSTLY DUPED WIDOW AND DIVORCEE WOMEN AMONG ON JUDICIAL OFFICER ALSO

Team of AEKC, Crime Branch has arrested one interstate wanted criminal namely Mukeem Ayyub Khan r/o Shastri Park, Delhi (Permanent resident of Vadodra, Gujarat) Age 38 Years, who allegedly duped over 50 women on the pretext of marriage through matrimonial websites posing as a senior Govt. Official. He has been involved in such incidents across the states and was being searched by police from different states.
After receiving information from secret informer and sensing the gravity and nature of the crime, Team of Anti Extortion and Kidnapping Cell/Crime Branch started gathering information about Mukeem Khan who was being searched by police from different state for duping several women on the pretext of marriage. The team comprising Inspr. Priyanka, SI Ankur Yadav, ASI Md. Talim, ASI Rohit, HC Somesh, HC Guruender, HC Vineet, HC Nitin, HC Yunus, Ct Sumit was constituted under the close supervision of ACP Sushil Kumar Daila, AEKC to work on this arduous task and solve multiple Cases.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sain, IPS, DCP, Crime Branch Delhi, said accused Mukeem Ayyub Khan was interrogated at length where he disclosed of his involvement in crime and also revealed his modus operandi. He disclosed that he duped several women including high-profile women on the pretext of marriage by creating multiple fake IDs with attractive description on different matrimonial websites such as Jeevansathi.com and Shadi.com. He disclosed that he used to target high-profile muslim unmarried, widow and divorcee women for marriage by posing as a senior Govt. Official.
To apprehend accused Mukeem Khan, the team had gathered information through all possible means, followed by ground work. Team had continuously raided in different states at all the possible hideouts, but all in vain as the accused Mukeem Khan was continuously changing his position by committing new crimes. Despite several challenges the dedicated team kept working on it through all possible means which includes technical surveillance and human efforts and at last was successful in deriving a credible information that the wanted Mukeem Ayyub Khan is coming to Delhi from Vadodra, Gujarat. The dedicated team laid a trap and arrested him from the nearby area of Nizamuddin Railway Station.
INTERROGATION: Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sain, IPS, DCP, Crime Branch Delhi, said accused Mukeem Ayyub Khan was interrogated at length where he disclosed of his involvement in crime and also revealed his modus operandi. He disclosed that he duped several women including high-profile women on the pretext of marriage by creating multiple fake IDs with attractive description on different matrimonial websites such as Jeevansathi.com and Shadi.com.
He disclosed that he used to target high-profile muslim unmarried, widow and divorcee women for marriage by posing as a senior Govt. Official. After fixing the target, he used to share his mobile number with such women and engaged them in fascinating talks. During such conversation, he used to tell his fabricated story that he is a govt. servant and suffering from family issues due to death of his wife and unable to take care of his only daughter.
He also used to share the picture of her wife and daughter with such women. To win trust of these women he used to meet their families to talk about marriage, to fix the date of marriage etc. Once these gullible ladies trusted him, he used to cheat them by extracting money in the name of booking of resort, marriage hall or hotel for the marriage.
He further disclosed that in this fashion he cheated multiple women across the country and majority of them women were divorcee, widow women as it was easy for him to gain their trust through fake empathy and enthralled sweet talks.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Accused Mukeem khan 36 years old, belongs to Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. He got married in 2014 and has three children. In 2020, firstly he made his ID on shadi.com and on the basis of interest of one working woman, he went to meet her to Vadodara Gujarat and after discussion, agreed to marry her who was a divorcee having a daughter of 05 years. Before leaving Vadodara Mukeem took Rs. 30000/- from her on the pretext that he had lost his valet.
Though, he got married with her and started living with her, but a criminal thought cropped up in his mind to make easy money by cheating women in this fashion. In 2023, he got married with one other woman from Preet Vihar, Delhi in same fashion who was widow having a daughter of five years. In this way, he used to create his base in different part of India and actually he was on hunt in different area of India targeting women from matrimonial sites.
He also used to take away expensive articles like cash, mobile phones and jewelry from the targeted women in the name of marriage. In case he couldn’t find anything expensive articles with such women, then he used to make up a story of shortage of cash/non-working of ATMs and allured these women to buy expensive phones and vehicles in their name and if they didn’t have the cash with them, he used to get it financed in their name and then he took away those articles. He further used to sell those articles and collect cash.
Even some times his railway tickets, air ticket was also booked by these victims for the purpose of meeting for marriage with their familiees. His victims are high profile muslim women and even includes a Judicial Officer.
In an incident, he booked a scooty as a gift for a woman in her name by paying some money from his side and in the name of shortage of money balance amount was made by the woman itself. After getting delivering of the scooty, he went for a ride and disappeared.
Though the accused Mukeem khan has cheated many women but only few of them got registered their complaint against him. On the basis of interrogation and investigation, he has been found involved in below mentioned cases. There is high probability of his involvement in many other cases registered across the states.

RECOVERY: One scooty (make Honda Activa) without number plates, cheated from one of the victims, One Mobile Phone (make Vivo V30) cheated from one of the victims.
Legal action against the accused person was initiated and information has been shared with respective police stations.
