PAX ARRIVED AT IGI AIRPORT, INTENDED TO DEPART ITALY, CAUGHT DURING SCRUTINY OF HIS TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Continuing crackdown on fraudulent agents, staff of PS IGI Airport arrested one fraudster agent namely Paramjeet Singh S/o Tirath Singh R/o Village-Bodlawala, Ludhiana, Punjab Age 41 years in Case FIR No. 764/24 dated: 2.10.24 U/s 318(4)/336(3)/340(2) BNS & 12 PP Act, PS IGI Airport, Delhi. He had arranged fake Singaporean visa and fake Immigration stamps on the passport of the pax for his journey to create travel history and arranged his illegal journey to Malaysia via Thailand.
The facts of the case are that on 2-10-24, one Indian male pax Manjeet Singh S/o Balraj Singh R/o VPO- Salah, City Nava Shahar, Distt-Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, Punjab Age 21 years holding an Indian passport arrived at IGI Airport who was intending to depart to Milan,Italy.
During scrutiny of his travel documents, it was found that one fake Singaporean visa & fake Immigration stamps of India, Thailand and Malaysia were found affixed on his passport. As the pax intended to travel on a passport containing fake visa & fake arrival/departure Immigration stamps and cheated Indian Immigration, a Case FIR No. 764/24 dated: 2.10.24 U/s 318(4)/336(3)/340(2) BNS & 12 PP Act, PS IGI Airport, Delhi was registered accordingly and investigation of the case was taken up.
During course of investigation of the case, pax Manjeet Singh was arrested. On interrogation, he disclosed that one of his brothers had gone abroad and was earning good money, so he also decided to go to abroad for better livelihood and met with one agent namely Ravinder @ Rickey.
Usha Rangnani, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Policem IGI Airport, said, the pax further revealed that after reaching in Malaysia, he met with agent Paramjeet Singh who arranged fake Singaporean visa & fake Immigration stamps of India, Thailand and Malaysia on his passport to create travel history. The pax also revealed that on 27-03-24, he came to India on the directions of the agent and the agents further arranged his journey to Italy but he was caught at IGI Airport during scrutiny of his travel documents.
The agent Ravinder @ Rickey promised to send him to Malaysia via donkey route, in lieu of Rs 2.50 lakhs. The agent told him that first he would arrange his journey to Thailand and further arranged his illegal entry to Malaysia through one of his partner Paramjeet Singh who would also arrange a job for him.
The agent had also assured to arrange a job for him. Thereafter, the agent Ravinder @ Rickey arranged tickets & Visa of Thailand for him and in Feb 2023, he reached Thailand and the agent further arranged his entry in Malaysia via donkey route with the help of his associates.

A dedicated team led by Insp. Sushil Goyal, SHO/PS IGI Airport, comprising of SI Ashok Kumar and HC Ashok was constituted under the close supervision of ACP/IGI Airport and the overall supervision of the undersigned. The team was briefed properly and tasked to nab the absconding culprit at the earliest.
On the basis of local intelligence and technical surveillance coupled with sincere and dedicated efforts, accused agent Paramjeet Singh S/o Tirath Singh R/o Village-Bodlawala, Ludhiyana, Punjab Age 41 years was nabbed from one of his hideouts in Ludhiyana, Punjab.
On sustained interrogation, accused Paramjeet Singh confessed his guilt and disclosed that he has studied up to 10 th class and he went to Malaysia around 10-12 years ago on work visa and during his work, he came in touch with some agents who were working as agents and used to dupe people on the pretext of sending them abroad. So, he started working as an agent to earn quick money and also came in contact with agent Ravinder @ Rickey and started working with him.
As per the deal, agent Ravinder @ Rickey arranged the journey of the pax to Thailand and thereafter, he arranged illegal entry of the pax to Thailand with the help of his associates and further arranged fake Singaporean visa & fake Immigration stamps of India, Thailand and Malaysia on the passport of the pax to create travel history.
Investigation of the case is in progress to nab the agent Ravinder @ Rickey, to unearth the involvement of other agents and to scrutinize bank accounts of the accused and to trace his possible involvement in other similar complaints/cases also.
