Longowal Group of Colleges, Derabassi organized a magnificent fresher’s welcome party on Wednesday, at its Academic Wing. Jubilant smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the students.
The ecstasy filled event gave the fresher’s an opportunity to showcase their talent and also a platform to interact with their seniors. The event witnessed many vibrant performances by both senior and junior students. A cultural bonanza was offered by the students that included several rounds of ramp walk and question answer round, dance, music, songs which weaved magic of fun and joy into the event.
Beautifully attired contestants rocked the stage with their ramp walk and amazed the audience with their answers. During this party, Ms. Khushnaseeb of BSc. Radiology bagged the title of Miss Fresher, Mr. Maninder Singh of BSc. Radiology was given the title of Mr. Fresher. Mrs. Kanta Katyal (Chairperson) was present to shower her blessings.
While addressing the students Dr.Kapil Katyal (Vice- Chairman) said that extra-curricular activities are significant for overall balance growth of a student’s personality .He also inspired the students to imbue high moral values. Principal (LPPC) Dr. Rosy Katyal awarded the titles to the winners and inspired students to achieve their goals with hard work and determination. Dr. Vinod Katyal (Director/Principal LAC) welcomed the new entrants and prayed for their successful future.
