The Top 15 contestants of ‘Indian Idol 16’ on Sony Entertainment Television have wowed the judges – Badshah, Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani with their stellar ‘playfront’ performances. Among them is ‘Idol ki Classical Queen’ Mayuri Saha from Tollygunge, Kolkata who recently caught the attention of legendary composer A. R. Rahman, earning a follow on Instagram after posting her rendition of his composition.
Thrilled by the recognition, an elated Mayuri Saha shared, “I've idolized A. R. Rahman sir since childhood and to have him follow me on social media is beyond my wildest dreams. This is a dream come true and a validation of my hard work.”
