PUNJAB HOME GUARDS AND CIVIL DEFENCE CELEBRATE 62ND FOUNDATION DAY IN FEROZEPUR

The Punjab Home Guards and Civil Defence Department marked its 62nd Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at the Divisional Commandant Headquarters in Ferozepur. On this occasion, Anil Kumar Paruthi, Divisional Commandant of Punjab Home Guards, read out congratulatory messages sent by President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Home Secretary Vivek Srivastava, and Special DGP Sanjeev Kalra.

On this occasion, several officials, including Chief Warden Parminder Singh Thind, Deputy Chief Warden Prem Nath Sharma, Post Wardens Arun Sharma and Rajesh Kumar, and District Commander Rajinder Krishan, were honored for their outstanding services. Deputy Battalion Commander Vakil Singh also received accolades.

The event also saw commendations for Home Guard personnel stationed at various duty points, with appreciation certificates distributed to recognize their exemplary service. Chief Warden Parminder Singh Thind praised the dedication of the Home Guards in his address, motivating them to continue performing at high standards.

Stage duties were efficiently managed by Company Commander Parminder Singh Bath, while the event concluded with a renewed commitment to excellence and service to the nation.
