In compliance of directions contained in the judgment dated 22.09.2006, passed by Hon'ble Apex Court, in Writ Petition (Civil) No.c 310 of 1996 – titled as “Prakash Singh & others Vs. Union of India & others”, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi letters bearing No.14040/45/2009-UTP, dated 23.03.2010; No.U-11020/7/2014-UTL, dated 22.10.2019; No.U-11020/7/2014-UTL, 21.02.2023 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 54 of Punjab Police Act, 2007 (Punjab Act No.10 of 2008) as extended to Union Territory of Chandigarh, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to re-constitute the Police Complaints Authority for Union Territory, Chandigarh, as under, on such terms and conditions as are contained in the aforementioned letters issued by the Government of India – Hon'ble Justice Mr. Kuldip Singh (Retired) as Chairman; Smt. Dheera Khandelwal, IAS (Retired) as Member; and Sh. Amarjot Singh Gill, IPS (Retired) as Member.
