15th Bharat Muni Samman ceremony was organised by Kalingayana Touryatrikam dance ceremony, an old Odissi dance ceremony of Odisha. The event was organised at Ravindra Mandap in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar.
This event was going on for two days on 16th and 17th. Special Director, President Awardee Shri Soorya Krishnamoorthy was honoured with Bharat Muni Samman on the last day of 15th Bharat Muni Samman ceremony.
(SUBHEAD)In this event, former Ambassador and President of the ceremony Jitendra Nath Mishra and Padma Shri Award winner, Italian Odissi dance artist Ileana Citaristi were the chief guests and presented this award. In the first phase of this event, CH Ajay Kumar performed Kuchipudi dance and after that Suryamani Ramesh Das and Dr. Sharada Prasanna Das performed Jugalbandi Violin.

Kalingayana touryatrikam is an Odisha based organization, founded in 2004 in the temple city of Bhubaneswar and registered in 2007 with the sole aim to promote the art, heritage and culture of India on the global platform. The organization has more than 200 students and performs on both national and international platforms. At present Guru Smt. Puspita Mishra is the guiding force of the organization.
