As part of its ongoing efforts to improve road safety, Mayank Foundation today launched a special campaign aimed at enhancing the visibility of trolleys on roads, especially during the foggy season. A team of volunteers from the Foundation successfully pasted 500 reflectors on trolleys that lacked adequate backlights, making them more visible to other drivers and reducing the risk of accidents.

The initiative comes in response to growing concerns about the lack of proper lighting on trolleys, which often travel on roads without backlights, particularly in the early morning and evening hours when fog reduces visibility. The presence of reflectors helps make trolleys more visible, thereby contributing to safer road conditions.

APPEAL TO TROLLEY OWNERS & DRIVERS

Mayank Foundation strongly appeals to all trolley owners and drivers to take responsibility for their vehicles by ensuring that reflectors are pasted and backlights are functional, especially during the foggy season when visibility is drastically reduced. The Foundation urges everyone to prioritize road safety and follow traffic guidelines to prevent accidents.

CHIEF JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE JOINS THE CAMPAIGN

(SUBHEAD)In a show of support for the initiative, the Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Secretary DLSA, Ferozepur MS Anuradha joined the campaign and expressed her appreciation for the efforts of Mayank Foundation. She emphasized the importance of collective efforts in creating awareness about road safety and encouraged citizens to actively participate in initiatives that promote safe driving.

DISTRICT TRAFFIC POLICE COOPERATION

The campaign also received invaluable cooperation from the District Traffic Police, who actively participated in the event, assisting with the distribution and placement of reflectors. Their involvement underscores the importance of collaboration between the community, law enforcement, and non-governmental organizations to ensure safer roads for all.

MAYANK FOUNDATION’S COMMITMENT TO ROAD SAFETY

Mayank Foundation has been at the forefront of various community-based road safety initiatives, with a particular focus on educating local residents about the importance of adhering to traffic rules. The foundation’s mission is to reduce road accidents through awareness campaigns and proactive measures that address the key factors contributing to accidents in the region.

The Foundation is grateful for the support from the Chief Judicial Magistrate, District Traffic Police, and the local community, and looks forward to continuing its efforts to improve road safety in Ferozepur.
