The expedition which included six cadets of NCC Senior Division, six Senior Wing Cadets and NCC Staff was flagged off from the National Martyrs Memorial, Hussainiwala by Major General Jagdeep Singh Cheema, Additional Director General, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh NCC Directorate. The ADG praised the spirit of adventure and patriotism in the cadets and exhorted the cadets to imbibe the values of valour and selfless service from the national heroes like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and others.
