The Government of India has invited 10,000 special guests, including 87 achievers from Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, to attend the 76th Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2025, in New Delhi.

These distinguished invitees, hailed as the architects of 'Swarnim Bharat' (Golden India), represent the spirit of India's diversity and progress. They include high achievers in various fields and individuals who have demonstrated exemplary use of government schemes. The initiative aims to honor their contributions to nation-building and showcase their inspiring work on a national platform.

The special guests have been selected from various categories, including Panchayat Representatives, Self-Help Group (SHG) Members, Participants in Government Missions and Initiatives, and Healthcare and Community Volunteers, such as ASHA workers. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership, community service, and dedication to improving public health and wellbeing.

These achievers include 4 individuals from Chandigarh, 25 from Haryana, 48 from Himachal Pradesh, and 10 from Punjab. They have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to Women and Child Development, PM Yashavi Scheme, Vibrant Village Scheme, and BRO, among other areas. (The detailed list of achievers is attached).

This initiative is part of the Government of India's efforts to foster 'Jan Bhagidari' (public participation) in events of national importance. By honoring these achievers, the government aims to promote a sense of ownership and participation among citizens, and to inspire others to contribute to nation-building.
