DC DISTRIBUTES GIFTS AT MATA CHHAYA ASHRAM

Fazilka Deputy Commissioner Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu visited the Matra Chhaya Anath Ashram near Alamgarh in Abohar.

She congratulated the children on the Lohri festival and spoke about the importance of celebrating this day. She distributed school bags and food items to the children as Lohri gifts. She spent a lot of time with the children and also had conversations. The DC also inspected the ashram and directed the concerned officials that children should not face any problem at the ashram.

The children listened to the address given by the DC with full enthusiasm, they also performed activities celebrating Lohri festival.

District Child Protection Officer Ritu Bala, Ranveer Kaur, Kaushal and Bhupinderdeep Singh were among those present.
