THE EXPEDITION WILL BE FLAGGED OFF TOMORROW FOR THE NEXT LEG TO PANIPAT

The NCC Cycle Expedition, themed "Bharat Ke Veer: Ek Shaurya Gatha", arrived at Kunjpura today, which has been undertaken by the NCC cadets of NCC Directorate Punjab, Haryana, HP & Chandigarh to commemorate the sacrifices of Historical Warriors and Freedom Fighters. aims to foster the spirit of national integration, adventure and patriotism amongst NCC cadets and citizens.
The 14-day expedition, which began on January 7, 2025 from Hussainiwala (Punjab) to New Delhi, aims to cover approximately 700 km, touching important battlefields and memorials on its route.
Col Vijay Rana, Principal, Sainik School, Kunjpura flagged in the rally, where they paid homage to the Kunjpurean Bravehearts, who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. Led by Col Sombir Dabbas, the team consists of 15 cyclists, including six girl cadets and six boy cadets. The team will also visit the National Diary Research Institute (NDRI) at Karnal, India's premier research institute for dairy research, to understand the path-breaking technologies handled by NDRI.

On January 18, 2025, the cyclists will depart for Panipat, where they will visit various sites of historical importance. The expedition will arrive at the DGNCC Camp in Gurugram on January 20, 2025, where the team will be felicitated. The expedition will culminate in New Delhi to coincide with the Prime Minister's Rally as part of the Republic Day Celebration 2025.
