In a remarkable effort to promote cleanliness and environmental conservation at the MahaKumbh Mela, Sewa Bharti in associations with Hariawal Punjab have launched a unique initiative aimed at reducing waste and promoting eco-friendly practices. Today, from their center in Sector 29, Sewa Bharti dispatched 4,000 eco-friendly cotton bags to Prayagraj. These bags, crafted by ITI students and Sewa Bharti’s sewing students, are being delivered to the MahaKumbh Mela site through Aggrawal Packers & Movers for distribution among the devotees attending the event.

In addition to the eco-friendly bags, the Hariawal Punjab team has already sent 27,000 steel plates and 16,500 steel glasses to be distributed among Langar committees, ensuring that pilgrims are provided with reusable items rather than single-use plastics. The Hariawal Punjab team is continuously sending large quantities of stitched cotton bags from various locations in Punjab on a daily basis to further support the initiative.

On this occasion, Mr. Rajendra Jain, along with environmentalist Dr. Suman Mor from Punjab University, Dr. Pradeep Sharma, Mrs. Neena Sharma, Mr. Sahai, and other distinguished guests and Service Bharti members gathered to sing a special MahaKumbh Geet, composed by Dr. Pradeep Sharma. The song is intended to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and the need to reduce the use of single-use plastics during the MahaKumbh.
