COMBINED ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP 180 UNDER 2 CHANDIGARH BATTALION NCC IN FULL SWING AT ROPAR

The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 180, organized under the aegis of 2 Chandigarh Battalion NCC, commenced at the NCC Academy in Ropar. The camp will continue until January 28, 2025, with the participation of 243 cadets from various schools and colleges of Chandigarh.

The camp aims to provide rigorous training and instill discipline, leadership, and team-building skills among the cadets. Activities include physical training, weapon handling, map reading, drill practice, and lectures on national integration and disaster management. Special sessions are being held to enhance the overall personality development of the cadets.

Commanding Officer of the 2 Chandigarh Battalion NCC, Colonel Paramjit singh *Vishith sewa medal* addressed the cadets during the inaugural session, emphasizing the importance of the NCC in shaping the nation's youth. The camp also focuses on fostering camaraderie among cadets from diverse backgrounds.

The CATC 180 continues to uphold the NCC's vision of transforming youth into leaders and responsible citizens, making significant contributions to the nation's growth and progress.
