WILD WOODS WARRIORS STORM INTO SEMIFINALS WITH DOMINANT WIN OVER PUNJAB PANTHERS, MANOHAR MAVERICKS STUN TALANOA TIGERS

Wild Woods Warriors became the first team to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the Chandra Shekhar Azad T20 Tournament with a commanding eight-wicket win over Punjab Panthers. Opting to field first, Warriors' bowling attack led by Neel Dhaliwal (4/33) and Paras (3/15) restricted Panthers to 147/9.

Ayush Sikka (51) emerged as the top scorer for the batting side. In response, Warriors comfortably chased down the target athe loss of two wickets in just 14.1 overs, powered by stellar knocks from unbeaten batters – Raman Bishnoi (57 off 35 balls) and Kunal Mahajan (46 off 28 balls).

(SUBHEAD)In another match of the day, Manohar Mavericks pulled off a stunning five-wicket win against Talanoa Tigers. Batting first, Talanoa Tigers posted 170/6 with Arjun Azad (67 off 39 balls), Deveng Kaushik (34) and skipper Rajangad Bawa (28 n.o) leading the charge. Mavericks’ bowlers, led by Lovepreet Saini (2/32) and Bhagmender Lather (2/33) kept them in check.

Chasing 171, Mavericks fumbled early with 21/3 on the board but were rescued by a match-winning knock from unbeaten Gaurav Puri (96 off 53) and Arjit Singh (37) to surpass the target with two balls to spare. Abhishek Saini (3/32) was the pick of the bowlers from Warriors side.
