The Executive Committee of The Old Sanawarian Society (OSS), the alumni association of the 177-year-old Lawrence School, Sanawar is set to host the 5th Edition of the OSS Inter-House Cricket Tournament at PCA, Mullanpur on March 8-9, 2025.

Addressing a press conference, OSS President (Elect) Brig Adarsh Butail (Retd) and Chief Event Coordinator Partap Singh Bajwa alongside team captains Mainak Goel (Himalaya), Mayank Oberoi (Nilagiri), Navjot Jammu (Siwalik), and Revant Gupta (Vindhya) announced that the tournament will feature six thrilling matches in a 15-overs-per-game format over two days.

(SUBHEAD)Organized under the leadership of Justice (Mr.) Rajive Bhalla (OS) and Mrs. Nancy Bindra (OS), wife of the I.J.S. Bindra, former BCCI President, the event upholds Sanawar’s sporting traditions. The 60-player lineup includes distinguished alumni—corporate leaders, doctors, judges, lawyers, and businessmen.

The Best Bowler Award, introduced last year in memory of Late Lovekirat Chahal (OS 2004, Vindhya) continues to honor his legacy. Awards for Tournament Champions, Man of the Match, Best Batter, Best Bowler, Best Fielder, and Most Valuable Player will be presented on March 9.

Distinguished dignitaries expected at the Prize Distribution Ceremony include R.T. Williams, former Cricket Coach, P.M.S. Banga, PCA Vice President, Dr. Harinder Singh Gill, Chairman Adesh Group, and Himmat S. Dhillon, Headmaster, The Lawrence School, Sanawar. The grand event will conclude with a performance by the Sanawar School Band.
