19 BN BSF ORGANISES INTER BATTALION SECTOR LEVEL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

An Inter Battalion Sector Level Hockey Tournament was organized by 19 Bn BSF at the hockey ground under Dashmesh Sports Club in village Ghallu. The event was inaugurated by Gunjan Kumar Shah, 2IC (Adm), Offg Comdt of 19 Bn BSF.

The programme was attended by villagers including youths and children from nearby villages and was coordinated by Mota Singh, Founder of Dashmesh Sports Club.  

(SUBHEAD)Three teams from 19 Bn, 55 Bn and 160 Bn BSF participated in the tournament in which 19 Bn BSF emerged victorious, securing a 2-1 win against 160 Bn BSF in the final match. 

Gunjan Kumar Shah felicitated the winners and runners-up with trophies and encouraged all participants, players and youth to actively engage in sports activities to promote a healthy lifestyle and deter them from antisocial activities. He also acknowledged the support and coordination of the club members and villagers in organising the event.

The members of the Dashmesh Sports Club and the local villagers expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation for hosting the hockey tournament in their village.
