Their visit to Chandigarh is an opportunity to celebrate the deep historical ties between Indian and British cricket. We are honored to host them and look forward for more such matches.”

(SUBHEAD)The STAGGNERS of Asia Cricket Club, a historic London-based wandering cricket club, is set to play a series of matches in Chandigarh. The club, known for its unique all-day cricket format, has a rich legacy dating back to the early 1920s when Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala hosted friendly matches in Chail, Himachal Pradesh.

After World War II, Maharaja Yadavindra Singh formally established the club in 1945 for colonial officers, giving it the name STAGGNERS of Asia. The club played its first match in Delhi against the Railways Officers Cricket Club and has since upheld the tradition of playing friendly yet competitive matches worldwide.

As part of their tour in Chandigarh, the STAGGNERS of Asia will be playing a series of exciting matches. Their schedule includes two matches against PCA Mohali, followed by a face-off with the Mahajan Cricket Club. They will also compete against the UTCA (Union Territory Cricket Academy). The tour will conclude with a match against the Old Yadavindrian Association (OYA), wrapping up what promises to be a thrilling cricketing experience in the region.

This tour continues the legacy of the STAGGNERS of Asia, promoting sportsmanship, history, and the love of cricket.
