Punjab Govt. reportedly announeced Holiday on April 29 (Tuesday) in connection with Lord Parshuram Jayanti in State. All Govt. offices and educational institutions will remained closed on that day.
The state government has included this day in the list of government holidays for the year 2025. Due to this, a holiday has been announced by the government. Government schools, colleges and other government institutions will remain closed on this day.
Lord Parshuram is one of the 8 Chiranjivis and he is the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. On his birth anniversary, a procession is taken out in the country and he is worshiped in temples.
