A 22-year-old girl who had gone to Canada for studies died under suspicious circumstances. The deceased has been identified as Vanshika, daughter of Aam Aadmi Party leader Davinder Saini, a resident of Saini Mohalla. a close associates of MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa.

The deceased had gone to Canada's Ottawa region from Derabassi to study two and a half years ago after passing class 12th. She had enrolled in a two-year course, whose final exam was held on April 18. She had started going to work for a few days. On the 22nd, she left home for a job but did not return.

She had her IELTS exam on the 25th, for which her friend, who was going to give the paper with her, called her repeatedly since this morning, but her phone was switched off. When they came to Vanshika's house after giving the exam, they found out that she had gone to work on the 22nd but did not return. They started searching for her by informing her family and other friends living in India. The deceased's friends and other well-wishers also contacted the local MP, who also sent mail to various places to search for her.

The deceased body was found on the beach on Monday. A wave of grief ran in Vanshika's family after hearing the news of her death. The deceased's father told that he had talked to his daughter on the phone on the 22nd April. He thought that she would be busy preparing for her paper. He suspected that she has been murdered, which should be investigated.
