Sleuths belonging to BSF have recovered a drone, pistol parts and heroin in three seperate incidents in this sector.
While divulging details, the BSF officials said that in the first incident which took place today morning, the BSF sleuths deputed near the international border at Lakha Singh Wala village, recovered a packet containing one pistol body and two magazines from the agricultural fields during a search operation
In another operation, a search operation had been carried out near Mahawa village in Amritsar district following the inputs during which the BSF sleuths recovered one packet of suspected heroin weighing 550 grams. The packet was wrapped with white cotton cloth and an improvised loop with two illuminating strips were found attached to it.
The BSF officials said that the third operation was carried out jointly with the Punjab Police sleuths during which one drone (DJI AIR 3 S) had been recovered from the agricultural fields near Mehdipur village in Tarn Taran district.
