Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday expressed deep shock and anguish over death of five school students and a driver in a tragic road accident on Samana-Patiala road.

Expressing profound grief and sorrow over this disastrous accident, the Chief Minister shared his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give them courage to bear this irreparable loss in the hour of crisis and grant peace to the departed souls.

He said that eight children who have also suffered injuries are undergoing treatment in various hospitals of the city. Meanwhile, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he was in had already in touch with the district administration and has directed them to ensure best medical facilities to all the injured.
