Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday congratulated the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University, Dr. Jagdeep Singh.

He said that Punjabi University is the pride of Punjab in general and the Malwa region in particular, and expressed hope that Dr. Jagdeep Singh will restore the institution’s pristine glory. Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the appointment of the new Vice Chancellor marks the beginning of a new era of unprecedented development and growth for the University.
The Chief Minister added that education, health, and employment are the key focus areas of the state government, and that significant efforts are being made to boost the education sector. He said that a comprehensive plan has been formulated to ensure that this area of immense public importance receives the attention it deserves. Bhagwant Singh Mann affirmed that no stone is being left unturned in this noble cause, which aims to make Punjab a leading state in the country and ensure the prosperity of its people.
