CIA staff re[prted;u arrested two gangsters during a joint operation of Jalandhar and Dhakoli police on Monday, after brief encounter. The police said that in connection with an incident in Jalandhar, information was received about the presence of criminals in Zirakpur. During this operation, the team of Zirakpur Police and CIA Staff Jalandhar arrested two gangsters from Metro Town Society located in Peer Muchachala area of Dhakoli. Several cases are registered against both of them.
It was alleged that the gangster attacked the police and in the retaliatory action of the police, both the gangsters were injured. They have been taken to the hospital for treatment. The police will investigate which gang the two miscreants are associated with.
The youth identified as Akashdeep Singh and Gaurav Kapila.
