BROAD DAYLIGHT ROBBERY IN ABOHAR CREATES A SCARE

Abohar (Face2News)

Robbery from a businessman in broad daylight in Abohar has created a scare. This afternoon in Subhash Nagar, three masked youths attacked and injured a tobacco products seller using sharp edge weapons. They robbed him of thousands of rupees and broke his mobile on the spot so that he could not contact anyone. The injured have been admitted to the government hospital for treatment.

Deepak Somani, a resident of Nai Abadi, said that he was going to Subhash Nagar in an auto at around 2.30 pm today. When he reached near Dera Sacha Sauda, three masked youths on a bike stopped him by placing their bike in front of his auto. They took him out of the auto, attacked him with crowbars, injured him and snatched cash worth Rs 3,000 from his pocket. When he fell down, they took out his mobile phone from his pocket and broke it so that he could not talk to anyone. Meanwhile, when a bike rider passed by, the attacking youth ran away from there.

The passerby informed Deepak’s brother-in-law Nitin, on which he reached the spot and got him admitted to the civil hospital. According to doctors, Deepak has suffered deep wounds on his head, mouth, knees and stomach. City-2 SHO Davinder Singh said that after recording Deepak’s statement, strict action will be taken after locating the accused.
