COL AVESH PAL SINGH, DGC & CAO, VISITS EBSB-II CAMP

Col Avesh Pal Singh, DGC & CAO, NCC Group Ludhiana visited the EBSB-II Camp conducted by 25 PB Bn NCC at NCC Academy, Malout.

During the visit, he was introduced to all the ANOs/ GCIs and PI staff who have come to attend the camp from various groups of PHH&C and Bihar and Jharkhand Dte. He was briefed by Col Rajeev Sirohi, Camp Commandant on the various training and administrative issues pertaining to the camp. Col Avesh Pal witnessed the Paintings made on the theme of National Integration and the Tableaux prepared by cadets of the groups of both the Dte.

He interacted with the cadets and addressed them on the core values and contemporary responsibilities of NCC youth.

In his address, Col Avesh Pal Singh emphasised the paramount importance of National Integration and urged the cadets to strengthen the bonds of unity, mutual respect and brotherhood among the diverse communities of the nation. He further stressed the need for intelligent and responsible use of Social Media, advising cadets to utilise digital platforms constructively for knowledge-sharing, positive outreach and nation-building while remaining vigilant against misinformation and misuse.

He also highlighted the critical role of developing Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Emotional Quotient (EQ) among NCC cadets. He underlined that strong EI and EQ enable cadets to lead effectively, manage stress, foster teamwork and emerge as balanced, empathetic and resilient citizens and future leaders of the country. He felicitated the cadets who performed well in various competitions held during the camp.
