The SSP also held a meeting with senior officers of BSF and discussed the issue of making border security, joint strategy and mutual coordination more effective. Joint patrolling, blockade and close monitoring of suspicious activities are continuously being carried out by both the security forces in the border areas. With mutual cooperation between Fazilka Police and BSF, the security cover in the border areas shall be further strengthened so that any illegal attempt from across the border can be foiled in time.
