The Punjab State Food Commission has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of one of its founder members, Capt. P.S. Shergil, IAS (Retd.).
Sh. Vijay Dutt, Member & Chairman (Additional Charge), along with Members Sh. Chetan Dhaliwal and Sh. Jasvir Singh Sekhon, expressed their heartfelt condolences on the passing away of Capt. Shergil.
They said that Capt. P.S. Shergil played a pivotal role in the establishment and strengthening of the Punjab State Food Commission and made valuable contributions towards taking the Commission forward. His dedicated services and contribution will always be remembered with great respect and gratitude.
The Members conveyed their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give the family strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
