SHARP SHOOTERS HAD FLED TO NEPAL AFTER SANJAY VERMA’S MURDER IN ABOHAR

Anti-Gangster Task Force of Rajasthan Police carried out a major operation in Jodhpur and arrested Lawrence-Arzoo Bishnoi gang sharp shooters- Jaskaran Singh alias Karan alias Sunny alias Katta (23), resident of Guruharsahai and Rajinder Singh alias Billa (23), resident of Balluana, Abohar.

On a tip-off that they were in Sirohi and headed to Jodhpur, an AGTF team, with the help of Jodhpur Commissionerate Police, raided Room No. 204 of Hotel Suncity Inn in Kailash Nagar and arrested them.

They initially tried to mislead police by introducing themselves as Naveen Jakhar and Ashu, but eventually were forced to reveal their identities as wanted criminals.

Both are said to be wanted in several cases including the murder of New Wearwell Emporium co-owner Sanjay Verma of Abohar and the murder of another person Sahil in Fazilka. Combining the available criminal records of both the accused, a total of 12 cases emerge. 8 cases are registered against Billa and 4 against Karan in Punjab. There are 8 cases registered against Billa between 2023 and 2025 in Abohar, Fazilka and Sangrur. There are 4 cases registered against Karan in Fazilka and Abohar. At present, both the accused are being interrogated and information is being gathered regarding the purpose of their coming to Jodhpur, the possible incident and other members and contacts associated with the gang. 

This entire action was taken by Additional Director General of Police ATS, AGTF and ANTF Dinesh M.N. It was done under the direction and supervision of Jodhpur Commissioner Anshuman Bhomiya, Deputy Inspector General of Police Yogesh Yadav and ASP Siddhant Sharma.

ASP Siddhant Sharma said police recovered 83 grams of opium derivative, a revolver, Rs 88,100 in cash, fake Aadhaar cards, mobile phones, SIM cards and other documents from their possession
