SURESH SATIJA APPOINTED GENERAL SECRETARY OF SAD INDUSTRY AND TRADE WING PUNJAB

The Shiromani Akali Dal Badal has appointed Abohar Beopar Mandal chief Suresh Satija as General Secretary of Industry and Trade Wing Punjab. His appointment was made with the consent of party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and provincial head of industry and trade wing N.K. Sharma. Sukhbir Badal handed over the appointment letter to Satija and wished him all the best for his new responsibility.

Satija said that SAD has always given priority to the interests of traders, industrialists, shopkeepers and small businessmen. The trust that party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has expressed in him is not only an honour but also a big responsibility for him. He will fulfill this responsibility with honesty, devotion and sense of duty and will strongly convey the voice of businessmen and industrialists across the state to the party platform.

He said that businessmen and industrialists have an important role in strengthening the economy of Punjab. Increasing trade creates employment opportunities and gives impetus to the development of the state. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the governments to provide a convenient and safe business environment to the traders by eliminating them from unnecessary hassles. He said that traders have to face problems like the tax system, electricity, law and order, basic facilities of markets, road systems and many other problems. His first priority will be to raise these problems at relevant forums and get them resolved.
