HIMACHAL: RS. 6300 CRORE STATE PLAN FOR 2018-19; AN INCREASE OF RS. 600 CRORE INCREASE

State plan size for fiscal 2018-19 has been proposed for Rs. 6300 crore which is Rs. 600 crore more than last year an increase of 10.51 percent. This was announced by Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur while presiding over the MLAs Priorities meeting of MLAs of Solan, Sirmaur and Shimla districts held here today in the forenoon session.Chief Minister also announced increase for implementing works of MLA priorities under NABARD through Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF). The MLAs can forward their recommendations for getting works done by PWD and IPH departments upto Rs. 90 crore. This ceiling was Rs. 80 crore earlier.

On his third day of winter sojourn to district Kangra, Chief Minister  Jai Ram Thakur while addressing a massive public meeting at Baroh in Nagrota Bagwaan Assembly constituency today said that it was unfortunate that the leaders of Congress were expecting massive development within a month of formation of government. Referring indirectly to former Industries Minister on his statements, Chief Minister said that the first and foremost development was to overthrow Congress from the State. There was change of generation, he said and advised such leaders not to issue statements out of frustration.
